Spray the auto body paint horizontally, moving the arm slowly across the panel so the metallic color drops (or falls) onto the surface. Maintain uniform coverage until the spraying process is complete. Recoat the panel from a similar distance straight away, but swap the horizontal movements for a vertical direction so the subsequent coat crosses the first. You will also have to do some homework with respect to legality. Some states require Lockout Specialists to be registered Locksmiths, but most do not! This is something you have to determine before you take another step.

If you find that you are living in a jurisdiction that requires registering, it is not that difficult to do. You will have to gain a wider knowledge of Locksmithing, but this certainly is not a detriment as it will likely lead to a fantastic career that goes well beyond opening locked mini-vans. If on the other hand you are fortunate enough to be living in an area in which Lockout Specialists can be licensed without having to be full-fledged Locksmiths, the path to a cushy career sprawls before you.

I started my business in Salt Lake City when I was 37 years of age. Up until then I had never so much as dreamt of being involved with locks, car openings or keys. That was a turning point in my life. I went on, within six months, to taking on small Locksmith jobs and teaching myself. I put a small ad in the Yellow Pages, hoping against hope I wouldn’t go bust in the first few months because those ads can’t be canceled, and I soon realized there was enough business out there that I was opening cars almost every day. I got better at it the more I did it (there were nightmare jobs in which it took me hours to open a single car, but that was in the very early days). Eventually the calls started coming in quite regularly and I started making good money, doing something I enjoyed. The feeling of helping others who really need your specialized service is a great one, and knowing you are working for yourself and no one else is beyond description.

I had to do all this without a road map. There was nothing available to beginners in those days, not like there is today. The explosion of information that is the Internet has made all the difference. I wish back in 1983 I’d had the advantages available to career seekers today. There are many self-help manuals and DVD courses now that can teach you to set up a Lockout Specialist business, or a full-fledged Locksmith business. The prices are surprisingly affordable, and the information in at least some of them is staggering. In many cases, you can actually earn certification by purchasing one of these courses.

It is worth considering if you like the idea of working for ten minutes, assisting a motorist in need, and putting up to $50 or $60 dollars in your pocket for your trouble.

Industry Use of the Word "Carwash" Versus "Car Wash" Considered in this year

There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy in the car washing sector as to where the carwashes the term “carwash” or “car wash” is most appropriate, that is to say is it all one-word or is it two-words. Okay so, since, I’ve been in the industry myself for nearly 30-years prior to retirement, I’d like to discuss this with you for a moment, and give you my take on this controversy.

Interestingly enough, the term “Carwash” has been used since the industry started, but many people use “car wash” online, and when they talk, so over the years, it seems to be either/or both. Unfortunately, using “car wash” also confuses those who are adamant about proper English, because it confuses the noun with the action to wash a car.

Nevertheless, I can say this, I was instrumental in my career of modifying the English Language to use the term “car wash” as a verb and as a noun, and looking back, I rather like it that way. Now then, during most of my career I was on the mobile side of the industry.

No one in the mobile car washing industry uses the word “carwash” to describe their businesses, and most everyone in the traditional location based carwashes uses “carwash” to describe their operations. That’s why I used the term way I did, although I bet you could find a half a dozen English Majors or professors in any given school who wouldn’t agree with my take on this or the realities of a changing and evolving industry.

So, that’s why I think I might disagree with English Teachers, I’ve changed the term over the years, and I like my way better, besides if you search the word online the search engines seem to pull up businesses, and doesn’t seem to pull up very many car washing “action” type websites. The world has changed, so it’s time that all the editors, English Teachers, and public get used to it, and change or get run over by the onslaught of actual users of the language, and look out now, because here comes China with more English speaking folks as a second language than the number of people in the US. India is next, so we are all going to have to deal with that.

When reading about this word in Wikipedia, it immediately announces that both uses of the word are common, and seems to indicate either are perfectly acceptable. I tend to agree with that, and would submit to you that when discussing mobile businesses, you always should use two-words to describe it, and when talking about a fixed site location, you should generally or mostly use the one-worded version, which most in the industry would agree. He added that with competition from newer brands like Hummer and rugged midsize SUVs like the Nissan Xterra, a modern Wrangler had to be built. But the look and features would not offend four-wheel loyalists.

The Jeep Wrangler now comes with fold-down windshield and removable and convertible tops. The exterior of the new Wrangler was designed with its heritage in mind, said Trevor Creed, senior vice president of Chrysler design. Kerry Ann Griffith, a Wrangler fanatic, is happy to know that the powered features do not prevent hardcore Jeep fans from removing doors for summertime ventures. “I don’t care what they do with the Jeep brand so long as they keep the Wrangler traditional,” said Griffith, who goes trail riding at least once a month.

“Once people see the new Wrangler, they’re going to be blown away by what this thing looks like and what it can do,” said Tom LaSorda, Chrysler chief executive officer.

Jeep sales are increased by 11.5 per cent in 2005 and the automaker is eager to further alleviate the sales with its new Compass, the Liberty Diesel and the seven-passenger Commander. “That is a big thumbs up that you can grow Jeep,” Bell said.

The automaker expects that the 2007 Jeep Compass is designed with an urban flair to appeal to new buyers in the compact SUV segment projected to double to 568,000 units by 2010 and triple to 814,000 by 2016 from 297,000 units in 2004. The Jeep Compass is designed to lure single women and recently married professionals ranging in age from 20s to 40s. The automaker is also targeting an upscale demographic with a median income of $60,000.

The all-new Jeep Compass features the Jeep brand’s signature seven-slot grille, round headlamps and trapezoidal wheel openings and a new silhouette that features a steeply raked windshield. Side-curtain air bags are standard and it is equipped with the new 172-horsepower 2.4-liter world engine produced by Chrysler, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and Hyundai Motor Co.

The Jeep Liberty Diesel, on the other hand, is a compact sport utility vehicle that features 2 new PowerTech engines, a 150 hp 2.4 L I4 and a 210 hp 3.7 L V6, a 2.8 L VM Motori turbodiesel engine became available in the CRD model and four-wheel disc brakes. In 2005, it bagged the title as the best-selling compact sport utility vehicle.

The Jeep Commander, a 7-passenger midsize sport utility vehicle introduced in 2006, features 3 moonroofs, squared-off sides, an upright windshield and very distinct styling. From Deadly Cancer to Unparalled Triumph, the Story of Lance Armstrong in this year

With his recent unprecedented seventh victory in the Tour de France, Lance Armstrong is perhaps the greatest cyclist ever.

Born Lance Edward Gunderson on September 18, 1971, in Plano Texas, to Linda Gayle Mooneyham and Eddie Charles Gunderson. Eddie disappeared when Lance was two, and Linda remarried Terry Keith Armstrong, whose last name Lance took. Lance did not get along well with his stepfather, having not seem him in several years, and has also expressed no desire to meet his biological father.

Lance was highly athletic from a very early age, as he began seriously running and swimming at age ten. By thirteen, he had begun competing in adult amateur triathlons. He became a professional thriathlete at sixteen, winning the national sprint-course triathlon championship the next year, and becoming the number one ranked triathlete in the nineteen and under age group.

Cycling Career

Lance soon chose to focus on his favorite, and best, event, cycling, and in 1990 he became the U.S. national amateur champion. The next year, he qualified for the U.S. Olympic cycling team, and finished fourteenth overall at the 1992 Summer Olympiad in Barcelona.

The next year, Lance turned professional, joining team Motorola and finishing the year ranked first in the world. His accomplishments that year included winning the eighth stage of his first Tour de France, becoming the youngest man to win the World Road Race Championship, and the first man to win the “Triple Crown;” the Thrift Drug Classic, the Kmart West Virginia Classic, and the CoreStates USPRO National Championship. His first Tour de France was disappointing, however; despite his eighth leg, victory, he soon fell behind, and eventually pulled out of the race.

Cancer and Recovery

In 1995, Lance won his first Tour de Pont victory, a race he had previously competed in twice. 1996 started as another successful year for him, in which he repeated his victory at the Tour de Pont, this time setting several race records, and once again qualified for the U.S. Olympic team, despite recovering from bronchitis.

On October 2, 1996, however, Armstrong was diagnosed with stage three nonseminomatous testicular cancer, which, due to its’ late diagnosis had already spread to his abdomen, lungs, lymph nodes, and later, even his brain. In hopes of saving his career, Lance opted for a more dangerous chemotherapy treatment, and underwent surgery to remove one of his testicles and the tumors on his brain. He was given about a %50 chance to survive. His doctor later told him, however, that the actual odds were closer to %3, and that Lance had been given the higher odds to help him keep his spirits up. In February 1997, he was declared cancer free, and established the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer patients. in 1998 he returned to take fourth place at the World Road Race Championship. The same year, he married Kristin Richard, whom he had met through his foundation.

Tour de France Victories and Divorce

Competing in the Tour de France for the first time in several years, Armstrong claimed his first victory in the race, winning four of the twenty-one stages. He repeated in 2000, this time defeating two of his major rivals who had been absent from the last race, Jan Ullrich and Marco Pantani, with Ullrich taking second place. In this year he also suffered system shock from a car accident, but recovered in time for the 2000 Olympics, in Sydney in which he earned a bronze medal.

In 2001 and 2002, Ullrich again took second place to Armstrong in the Tour de France. He won again in 2003, but in that year filled for divorce with Kristin Armstrong, with her citing the difficulties of caring for his cancer and the extensive traveling. Lance continued his winning streak, however, claiming victories in 2004 and 2005, bringing his total to seven before finally retiring. He currently hold the record for most victories by any individual.

Current

Armstrong is currently devoting his time to his charity foundation, while still competing in various cycling and running events. From 2003 to 2006 he dated singer and songwriter Sheryl Crow. Lance currently resides in a home in Austin, Texas, where he also owns a ranch.
